Crazy Volcano Cartoon

While looking for video clips to show how igneous rocks differ when the cool in intrusive versus extrusive environments I came upon this funny AND informative video. Check it out and be sure to listen during basketball games for this song to be played.

We could do a cut Mr. DeVoes hair and shave his face fundraiser for supplies for his trip. It would be a great before and after picture.

I think Mr. Devoe would like that idea, considering that he said he doesn't like it when people say he looks like Jesus. However, I have to agree with the anonymous post; it would make an amazing before and after picture series.

Hey, Mr. Wiech! I just got this really cool idea for a project for science night. I'm writing a persuassive essay for english and I'm using a quote from an article written and published by a man from Cornell University back in 1993. I was curious to know if he was still alive or not, and he is! I thought it would be really cool to put together a list of questions from the students at Groton about a particular topic and then ask him if he would be willing to answer them for us. Maybe he would even be interested in coming to the science night. His name is William B. Provine if you're interested.

Sweet! I'd like to go, too. Only problem is I have rehearsal. I wonder if I have to be there? If not, I could get my dad to go with me.
