The Great Benchmark Hunt

I have found one benchmark since the start of our contest. Remember that five photos and the jpg or hard copy of benchmark gets your class refreshments. The one at the right is from Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks.
On another note, here are links to info that may help you to decide which side of the upcoming debate you will choose to be on.
Read about U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse's ideas on global warming.
Brett Bozell makes claims in his Al Gore's Nobel Propaganda article.

I really can't think of one thing that peace has to do with "global warming" Hey Mr. Wielch are you allowed to give YOUR opinion on your blog?lol

Good question..peace...global warming? I think as certain, unnamed, countries start to push for global curbing of greehouse emissions there may be some tension that could result and some animosity. Are Gore and his movie the begining of this gloabal unrest? Hmmmm....

So China might get angry, because they are big contributers to the co2 emissions and if Gore tells them to do otherwise they might not like it

The STANYS conference was great! Mr Devoe and Syracuse were treated to presentations by 2 leading scientists in the fields of evolution and global warming. We also learned new techniques for our classrooms and discovered new projects we can all take part in. It was a great time.
